Construction Engineer at Peab Anläggning – Trestad and surrounding areas

Your role with us:

As a construction engineer, you are a key person in our projects. You will be an important support to site managers and project managers and work closely with production to ensure that projects are well-planned, cost-effective, and followed up in a structured manner. The role is varied and gives you both responsibility and authority – perfect for you who enjoy taking initiative and driving things forward. In other words, if you want to develop, you have all the opportunities to do so with us!

 

You will, among other things:

  • Monitor project finances and analyze deviations.
  • Manage changes and financial settlements with clients and subcontractors.
  • Participate in cost estimation and bidding work as well as procurement planning.
  • Negotiate and write contracts in consultation with the site manager/work manager.
  • Represent Peab and be the contact person for the client.
  • Ensure contract administration and documentation according to Peab's guidelines.
  • Develop the routines and working methods of the work manager group.

 

We believe you have:

  • Technical university education or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction business focusing on finance, estimation, or administration.
  • Worked in construction production for an extended period.
  • Good understanding of bidding work, contracts, and financial flows.
  • Knowledge in estimation and bidding (preferably MAP), project economics, and production planning.
  • Experience in construction and procurement law (AB, ABT, ABM, ABK) as well as contract administration, change management, and AMA.
  • Meritorious if you have worked with planning tools (e.g., PlanCon), negotiation techniques, and basic geotechnics.
  • Driving license B.
